How do I measure this using a protractor

First extend the line of the angle so they would be easier to read on the protractor. Then there should be a line and circle at the bottom of you protractor. Put the little circle on the vertex of your angle and the line on the bottom of you r protractor should line up to the line on the angle then look at the degree it is pointing to.
