How are the crust, mantle, and core layers similar to the lithosphere, asthenosphere, mesosphere, outer core, and inner core layers?

The crust is the lithosphere. The mantle is the astenosphere. The core does map to the inner and outer core. I think the mesosphere does not fit well in here (it's a layer of the **atmosphere**)
